Southern Rangitikei Veterinary Services (SRVS Ltd) is a contract Veterinary practice, established in 1980 to serve the greater Rangitikei region.

Our Veterinary staff have the experience and skill to provide medical care for a wide range of animal species including:

With clinics in both Bulls and Marton, we can undertake a number of in-practice services, allowing for faster, more accurate care. We have surgical facilities for treatment of large and small animals, a pet hospital ward for overnight care of small animals, x-ray, endoscopy and ultrasound equipment, plus a state-of-the-art equine treatment & surgical facility. Our Veterinarians are also available for on-farm or residential visits.

Ares graduated from South China Agriculture University in 2012.  From there he decided to come to New Zealand to further his studies, and found the love of his life in Palmerston North.  He completed his Vet studies at Massey University in 2017 and shortly after started working at SRVS.  Today he lives in Palmerston North with his wife and son.  He loves all things Techy like video games and LEGO and loves making toys for his son.  Dr Fang's love for animals ranges from small to large, as he is the only Vet that works in both the Smallies and Production teams.  He absolutely loves it and is passionate in delivering top notch service to your animal, no matter what size.

Dr Stacey Grieve

Stacey joins SRVS with a wealth of knowledge of many species.  She enjoys working with our sheep and beef clients, our dairy clients and our small block holders. She especially enjoys disease prevention and planning towards our clients business goals.
Never one to turn down a cuppa, Stacey is always approachable.  

Sian Nichols

Siân initially joined us as a casual staff member, mainly working as a Receptionist at the Marton Clinic. We soon saw her potential and employed her full time as our Large Animal Technician in 2015. Siân has completed a Certificate in Small Animal Nursing and Rural Animal Technology. She is a very versatile team member. You will normally find Siân out and about de-budding calves, blood testing, weighing heifers, teat sealing, vaccinating animals, assisting the Production Animal Vets or providing the SRVS facial eczema spore counting service. She is equally at home in the small animal team, filling in for nurses when needed. Siân lives locally and is part of the Bulls Volunteer Fire Brigade.

Michelle Simpson

Michelle has spent a number of years in the animal health industry, having worked at referral laboratories where she studied microbiology, histology and parasitology; plus a stint in sales, prior to arriving at SRVS in 2011.  In 2016 she achieved a Diploma in Agribusiness Management and is currently working towards a business degree.  She feels that her priority are our clients and how the team can work with them and their business to achieve their desired goals. Michelle enjoys the variety of her job and occasionally you will see her out on-farm with the vets. Michelle loves the team dynamic at SRVS where even small achievements are recognised.  

Dr Jordan Vlassoff

Jordan grew up and spent most of his life in the Bay of Plenty before moving to Palmerston North to study to be a vet at Massey University. His main interests include all aspects of large animals, particularly the dairy side. Jordan takes pride in delivering top quality treatment and services to all animals that need health related care.
